Great pic, O Carpenter . . . makes me want to sit back and watch the film. Sadly I must work.
Liked the Burroughs artwork too. El hombre invisible.

I hope all is well, O Carpenter. Writing a lot, rather than sickness or worse.

Dear Walrus

You guessed it!

I thought what with all this cyber crime going on it would be unwise to flag the annual departure for Foreign Parts. (Is that the spelling of foreign, it looks odd whichever way I try the I & E ...).

Took only slim vols. (to help w. packing) & even then didn't touch half of them. Read some early Ez and then shifted onto Lisa Fishman. Lots of good things to say about her work. (Niedecker's in there, for sure).

I'm always astonished (& appalled) at how little I can manage to read in 10 days or so. Somehow the time goes ...

Got home this p.m. to find the book by Ron Padgett on Creative Reading waiting for me - v. interesting. I'll probably be posting under the influence soon.

Hope all's well in your neck of the ocean.
