Just deleted that Sonnet post - and it seems to have cleared up the problem. I can only assume I did some bizarre Html instruction.

Please let me know if things are OK your end.

All clear now -- some Derridean prankster perhaps? A shame as that was a fine poem.

Thanks - on both counts.

I suspect it was connected to my ham-fisted attempts to do indentations. And/or maybe some word in the poem 'reads' as Html coding! The power of words.

I'll put the poem back up.

PS Yes, I saw the Silliman post -- it was a perverse thrill to see Ashbery's books.

Also, I note Silliman is looking again at Spring & All ...

Filles de K: Yes, I'm so glad you like it. Mlle Mabry, btw, is Betty Mabry, who went on to become Miles's 2nd wife -- As Betty Davis she released an album called They Say I'm Different (1974), which is supposed to be a neglected classic. I may just get it some day.

Good luck with the writing. It's looking good -- also, after your Riddles posts I feel I understand better what you're doing with them & where they're coming from, so enlightenment all round.
